After a successful career in retail banking, I became a mother at the age of 40. At that time, I was living in Turkey. Meeting other mums of different nationalities became the highlight of the day. We created a group of mums, where I started to teach them English as a hobby. Coming back to England, I decided not to return to banking, but to become a teacher instead. So, I attended the IH London CELTA programme and obtained my Cambridge Certificate in June 2018. Since then, I have gained valuable experience teaching to groups of children, young adults, and adults, in schools , private groups, and 1-2-1 in-person and online sessions.
